
The Argentine Federal Police (PFA) carried out a raid in the city of Rosario, Santa Fe, in search of a man who had made death threats against the president, Javier Milei. According to the PFA in a statement, it concerned a 30-year-old Argentine individual.
The investigation that led to the raid was coordinated by the Ministry of Security, after the emergency service 911 in Rosario received an anonymous call on October 18. In that call, a male voice could be heard threatening, "WE ARE GOING TO KILL MILEI, WE ARE TERRORISTS (SIC)."
The Federal Prosecution Unit Assisting the Initial Attention Area of the Rosario Prosecution Unit, led by Julieta Eliana Militello, initiated the inquiries with the collaboration of the Anti-Terrorism Investigation Department (DUIA) of the PFA to identify the person responsible for the threat.
After conducting various field tasks, investigators were able to determine the identity of the individual and his address, located at Pasaje 730 in Rosario. With the authorization of the District Guarantee Judge of Rosario, Marcelo MartÃn Bailaque, the raid on the house was carried out, where the author was identified and notified of the case.
During the operation, two mobile phones were seized, one of which was used to make the threatening call to 911, as well as relevant documentation for the investigation. The accused was placed at the disposal of the judge for the crime of "anonymous threats" against President Javier Milei.
